New LG device appears in benchmarks; is it LG G2?

Recommended Posts

We have heard of LG G2 before, even seen some alleged presentation photos. We know it will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 800, a monster SoC that can also be found in both the Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE-A and Sony Xperia Z Ultra. This new device is called LG F320 and it scored an impressive 32002 in the Antutu Benchmark.

This score is a little better compared to GS4 LTE-A's 31491 but lower than the 34785 that the Xperia Z Ultra scored. LG F320 could be just a prototype and not a final version so its benchmark scores should get higher before it is available to the public.

Having a clock speed of 2.3 GHz and the new Snapdragon 800 SoC, we could easily assume that this will be LG's next flagship, the LG G2. Is this really the G2? can't say that for sure, it might as well be a tablet or even a prototype smartphone that will never be released. Either way, new leaks or even some official data should clarify this for us.

Until we know more, we are waiting for LG's 7 August event, where we might see their next flagship and maybe other devices as well. Whether F320 is G2 or Nexus 5, it seems to be a real beast, so we shall wait patiently for its release.
